Design

Great care is taken when we design any kind of space heating system. Required Comfort levels and energy effieciency are key parameters for our designs.

Upgrades

Existing heating systems can be upgraded to modern design standards. Replacement of radiators, changes in type of boiler and cutting edge controls can turn an old costly to run system into a system that is up to current design standards, again renewing efficiency

System Efficency

System design is key to a central heating system effieciency, The correct type and size of pipework also has a great impact. An often undisclosed part of efficiency is servicing and mainenence costs;- a poorly designed and installed system will not remain efficient for long and parts will not last their intended lifespan, therefore, requiring replacement.

System Controls

From a simple Time Clock and Room Thermostat to a fully Weather Compensated system controlled via Smartphone, heating. Hot water controls are now at the pinnacle of controlability.

I have previously mentioned that Heating systems require an annual service to ensure all is working at its optimum. This should be carried out at the same time as your boiler service. Central Heating Filters should be checked and water quality checked. Powerflush or Cleansed systems are usually trouble free. For landlords an annual boiler service is uk law and for homeowners also it is important for carbon monoxide safety. All boilers need to be safe. Wherever possible have your system serviced in the summer time so it is ready for winter. Should a part need replacing or if it is a boiler replacement that is needed you will not have to worry about being cold when the temperature drops. If you require it we will email you or write to you when your boiler, underfloor heating or another product is nearly due it's annual service.
